How is it evaluated?
Small adhesive electrodes are placed on the skin while the machine records a brief tracing. The test is painless and does not send electricity into the body.
What may treatment or management involve?
Your clinician interprets the tracing in context. A normal EKG does not rule out every heart condition, and additional testing or urgent care may be needed.
